“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63). God’s Words are life to us!
“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” (Matthew 12:33-37).
You do have what you say – good or bad! What comes out of your mouth is directly related to what you are putting down into your heart. If you are putting very little Word, but many worldly things into your heart, then what will come out of your mouth is the world. You won’t have what you need for the battles we fight against the enemy! Satan will beat you up.
There are four types of confession:
- Confession of sins by baptism by John the Baptist. “And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.” (Matthew 3:16).
- Salvation; confessing the Lordship of Jesus. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9).
- Believer recommits his/her life to the Lord. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9).
- Law of Confession – saying the same thing the Bible says.
There are four laws of flying:
- Law of Lift
- Law of Drag
- Law of Gravity
- Law of Thrust – to go forward
Spiritual laws operate above natural laws. Confession and salvation are spiritual laws while the four laws of flying are natural laws. Laws of the Spirit take control over natural laws. The Law of faith is higher than other laws. Everything in the universe has to line up with what you are saying. Everything you need for Kingdom living is in the Bible.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2). You must renew your mind by studying the Word of God every day. Then you meditate on that Word day and night.
“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.” (Proverbs 3:3)
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” (Psalm 45:1).
What the Word is telling us to do is to write the promises of God down in the good treasure of our heart. We find God’s promises in His Word. We need to study His Word daily and meditate on it day and night. We need to study God’s Word until it is down into our spirits and we know that we know it is Truth! Line up you confessions with the Word of God.Then we must be patient while we are waiting for the manifestation; patience is enduring and pressing in. You must know that you know! Hope keeps you steady. “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19).
Binding and loosing are very important; bind sickness, poverty and death. We loose healing and salvation. A miracle is instant whereas a healing takes time.
“If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.” (Mark 4:23-24).
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs 18:21). Choose wisely! Choose life! It will work for you like it worked for Jesus!
“I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted.” (Psalm 116:10). Whatever you believe is what you will say. That is why it is so important to put the Word down in your heart every day until you believe the Word before you believe anything else.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). Notice the Word says hoped for! Not wishing! The seed is the harvest. It needs to go into the ground and die. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” (John 12:24). The increase or decrease comes by our words. The angels are ready to bring what we say to pass. It is so important to only confess the things of God that we want in our life! Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Fear is the substance of the things we don’t want.
Don’t ever agree with the enemy! He is like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour! Instead, “Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.” (Proverbs 7:2-3).
Find the scriptures that support God’s covenant for what you are believing for, whether it be healing, finances to pay your bills, the healing of America, etc. Meditate on those scriptures day and night until you know that you know that they are God speaking to your situation. Make a positive confession by stating that the promises are yours. For example, “By His stripes I was healed and I am healed.” Repeat multiple times every day. You will soon be walking in God’s promises!
