How faithful are you to God? “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” (I Corinthians 4:2). Faithful means trustworthy, reliable and unfailing; stewards must be faithful.  How can God use us if we are not faithful?  You have to have a right attitude in order to remain faithful.

Prayer is an essential part of being faithful and having the right attitude. It sets God’s direction in us.

Remember we are ambassadors of God and have the diplomatic immunity of King Jesus!  We set up the Kingdom of God where ever we are! “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10).

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” (Ephesians 1:3-5).

Love is a choice, not a feeling. Your attitude determines how things turn out for you in life and your performance on the job or whatever you are doing.

There are adjustments we have to make in order to have or maintain the right attitude:

  1. You have to remain teachable to maintain a positive attitude.
  2. You can’t quit.
  3. When you have a winning attitude, you never throw in the towel.
  4. Listen to God!  Do what He tells you to do.  Spend time with Him every day.
  5. You can’t have a spirit of addiction.  A spirit of addiction can be towards anything, like Facebook.

Attitude is an inward feeling that promotes an outside reaction.  The expression on your face tells everyone what is going on inside of you.  A spiritual man cannot be brought down by satan.  You can make no provision for failure!

Be slow to speak and quick to listen!

We cannot be defeated with a good attitude!  The enemy has no control over a believer with the right attitude. Satan can’t touch you when you are living the way you should!  Again, we have diplomatic immunity! Attitude is everything!

Potential is everything inside of you that God put there that you haven’t become yet.  The potential to reach your goal is there.  You have to have an intense desire and then a demand on it.  You also have to put work into it. Your attitude will either make or break you!  Your attitude affects your performance at work. Your attitude affects everything you do.

God can give you a hopeful, positive attitude no matter what is going on.  God has to be first place! You have to sell out 100% to God.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26-27). When we need guidance or direction, then we should ask God.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).  This is the bare minimum of what we owe God for all He has done for us!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).  You need to go beyond what the average Christian would do.  You need to be an extreme Christian!  This takes commitment!  Mature Christians remain the same and their emotions aren’t up and down based on their circumstances. Your attitude is an outward expression of what is going on inside of you!

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” (I John 4:4-5).  God has ordained us to be fruitful in every endeavor.  He has given us grace to fulfill the assignment.  Remember, what so ever ye ask….Ask means demand.  You place a demand on the Word of God; not on god Himself, but His Word.  This is based on the Covenant we have with Him.  You must tap into the good life He has for you!  Ask yourself, “How intense am I for the things of God?”

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:12-14).  Press means to pursue.  Intense means vehement, fervent, violent (very forceful), full of zeal and enthusiastic. Start saying what you want instead of what you have and those things you don’t want will fall away!  We need to tap into what God has for us to do right now!

Use every set back as a stepping stone to move on. “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:3). Endure means to outlast it, not put up with it!  Outlast the enemy!  That should be your attitude! You are ready for everything and not concerned about anything.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:14).  This is the attitude of a winner.  Identify the level of your tolerance or breaking point.  Endeavor to go beyond it.  “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). You must have a life of faith!  You must put forth an effort.  Attitude is everything!  You have to sell out to God and give Him your all and all.  Give Him everything you have.

Whatever it takes!  That is a winner!  Develop a whatever it takes attitude!  And the Father will help you!  We can’t be discouraged!

Are you ready to develop your winning attitude today?
