We need three ingredients if we are to do a great and mighty work for God in this hour:
1) Faith,
2) Patience, and
3) Love.

These three ingredients are anchored by hope, because hope is the anchor of the soul.

The world of the physical is controlled by the spiritual realm. We are to live by faith. David took five smooth stones – they represented the Word of God. People are afraid of the giants. Faith is the spiritual force that can do the impossible; anytime – anywhere. Our faith will move the mountain – the giants – out of the way – every time!!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding” (Prov 3:5, NASB). By faith, trust in God to direct you and don’t reason in your own mind about how to proceed.

“And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed” (Luke 17:11-14, KJV). “Calleth things that be not as though they were” (Rom 4:17, KJV). Jesus saw 10 lepers – who had the worst disease of their day – and He did not hesitate for one nano second to heal them. “Go show yourselves to the priest” (Luke 17:14). It was the priest who called lepers healed; then they could move back into society. As the lepers obeyed Him and began walking to find the priest, they were all instantly healed!

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (I John 5:4-5, NASB). This is so deep. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world – and that is us when we are born again. God gives us His measure of faith and it is all we need to overcome the world. Our spirit is reborn and God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit take up residence in our spirit.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Cor 15:57, NASB). Faith always wins!!!

Confession of faith in God is like the thrust of a plane. You cannot turn off the confession of faith!
